Receipes, humor and nostalgia

In the beginning we all have choices, those choices are ours, no one individual has the same set of conditions that impact the choices that are made. We live, we learn, we make mistakes and when we cease to learn, our journey is at it's end. Only God understands the purpose and the path, as HE is Alpha and Omega. In the end, it is what it is and we mere humans can only accept that accept wisdom. This applies to cooking to as well. If something does not come out the way you intended the first time, scrape the crap off the pots and pans , and in some cases of food “disasters”, pawn the food off on someone who is willing to be a Guinea Pig!. In life disasters, share the disaster and then start over! Life and cooking share a connection. Not only do humans need nourishment for the body but it is also required for the soul. Keep in mind that like life, like cooking, is comprised of lessons and not all lessons are easy or pleasant! This page is intended to be nostalgic and full of humor at the same time. Again, enter at your risk. Some nostalgia may have too much spice or leave a sour taste, like some of the dishes on this site! Please feel free to share and post comments as only family members or friends who have been connected to “us” for substantial periods of time will be allowed to view this page.
